    Our main guide, Sam, was stellar. Travel in comfortable, spacious, clean vehicles. Professional, polite, informed, helpful drivers. Local guides were super. Scouts/guards were excellent. Always felt safe. Visits to Lalibela and Omo Valley communities were outstanding. Seeing hippos, crocodiles, baboons, and dozens of different birds was amazing. Up close with tribal communities. Small group visits with priests at Lalibela churches. Beautiful countryside and saw two rainbows on consecutive days in Ethiopia. What a dream.

    This was truly a fabulous trip. Sam was an incredible guide. I still don't know how she was able to give us access to the Patriarchs at the Timket or the bull jumping ceremony. She made this trip a total success.

Experience ancient traditions as Ethiopia’s Orthodox Christians remember Jesus’ baptism in the Jordan River. There will be joyous water-filled reenactments and parades featuring the Tabot, a model of the Ark of the Covenant.
