Just choose one of these included half-day tours and let your private guide immerse you in the city they love and know so well! 
 
Walking Tour with Tagliere Tasting: A relaxed morning walk with your personal guided reveals some of the city’s most iconic sites including the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona – built on the site of an ancient Roman stadium and hailed today as one of the city’s most beautiful. This tour ends at a local macelleria (butcher shop) for a Tagliere – a tasting of their fine cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by fresh bread and a glass of fine Italian wine. This 4-hour tour begins at 9:00 am outside the Farmacia (Pharmacy) at the base of the Spanish Steps. It is offered daily except Sunday and other blackout dates may apply.
 
Roman Gastronomy Tour: Experience the sights, sounds and flavors of the city like a true Roman citizen! With a chauffeured vehicle and private guide, you’ll visit a couple neighborhood markets mingling with the locals as they go about their daily shopping. With colorful insights from your in-the-know guide, you’ll browse among the lively stalls – pausing to sample a variety of local delicacies from cured meats and artisanal cheeses to Rome’s famous Pizza Bianca, a simple pizza with olive oil and salt. With pick-up and drop-off at your hotel, this 3-hour tour is offered daily except Sunday. Some blackout dates may apply.
 
Roman Forum + Colosseum Walking Tour: Starting out from the city’s most iconic landmark, this half-day walking tour brings Rome’s ancient Imperial glory to life. Standing inside the largest amphitheater of the Roman era, it’s easy to imagine the palpable excitement of the 70,000 spectators who filled the Colosseum 2,000 years ago. Then continue with your private guide to explore the extensive ruins of the Roman Forum. Filled with temples, basilicas, government buildings and bustling public spaces, this is where the city’s ancient denizens would gather to do business, debate politics or simply connect with their fellow citizens. This 3-hour tour begins in front of the newsstand by the Colosseo station exit of the Line B Metro and ends at the Forum. This tour is offered daily with certain blackout dates throughout the year.
 
Vatican Museums: Your chauffeured vehicle and guide will meet you at your hotel for an immersive journey through art, history and architecture. The complex of buildings now known as the Vatican Museums were built as the official residence of the Popes and the interior architecture is as impressive as the many treasures now on display. A magical day unfolds as you leave the capital behind, traveling in your chauffeured vehicle into the pastoral landscapes of Umbria. Near the historic hill town of Montefalco, you’ll make a stop at the Lungarotti Estate. Delight in the breathtaking 360° views from their villa, surrounded by vineyards, and enjoy a tasting of their fine wines including Sagrantino and Montefalco Rosso. Then continue to Perugia where you’ll check in to the Sina Brufani Hotel in a Deluxe room. This afternoon, enjoy the privately guided excursion of your choice:
 
Perugia Walking Tour: The capital of the Umbrian region is celebrated for its wealth of Gothic and Renaissance architecture, its charming cobbled squares and a delightful ambiance enlivened by the students of Perugia’s popular university. Accompanied by your personal guide, this walking tour along the town’s historic streets will show you several important sites including the Renaissance-era fortress of Rocca Paolina, San Lorenzo Cathedral and the Palazzo dei Priori, an impressive Gothic landmark. Umbrian Countryside by E-Bike: With rolling hills, picturesque vineyards and medieval towns perched on hilltops, the pastoral countryside of Umbria is best explored at the comfortable leisurely pace offered by an electronic mountain bike! Tailored to your personal taste for physical adventure, you’ll set out with your private guide to experience the culture and the beauty of the region. You might choose an invigorating uphill ride to visit one of the hilltop villages, an easier route through vineyard trails, or a steadier pedal along paved roads. After breakfast, a scenic chauffeured journey brings you to the ancient town of Pienza c where you’ll meet your guide for a tasting of some locally produced cheeses. Then continue your journey through the gorgeous Tuscan countryside to Siena, regarded by many as Italy’s loveliest medieval city. Check-in to the Grand Hotel Continental and later this afternoon, your private walking tour will take you along Siena’s charming cobbled streets to behold the architectural landmarks that surround the fan-shaped Piazza del Campo; this is the bustling heart of town and it’s dominated by the imposing crenelated façade of the 13th-century Town Hall. Depending upon seasonal closures and religious holidays, your private tour will also include a guided visit inside the Siena Cathedral or the Palazzo Pubblico. Both of these Gothic landmarks are equally notable and were important factors in Siena’s designation as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Meals B

Your private car and driver will transport you from Florence to Monterosso al Mare where you’ll check in to the Hotel Porto Roca. Surrounded by steep hills covered with vineyards and olive groves, charming Monterosso al Mare and its four sister villages are set along Italy’s magnificent northwest coast. The balance of your day is at leisure to relax or explore as you wish.

Get to Know Cinque Terre

Here in this region of secluded beaches and rocky grottoes, the five enchanting villages of Cinque Terre are set along cliffs and rugged hills overlooking the azure sea. Retaining their timeless aura, but graced as well with inviting cafes and boutiques, Manarola, Monterosso, Vernazza, La Spezia, and Riomaggiore each have their distinctive charms. Accompanied by your personal guide, you’ll set out this morning by rail and on guided walks to explore the prettiest of these five seaside communities. After sightseeing, your included Cinque Terre Pass offers unlimited use of the local transportation network allowing you to explore more of the region at your own pace. This evening, we’ve arranged for you to dine at Ristorante Pae Veciu, a charming restaurant famed for its fresh seafood and fine Northern Italian cuisine.  Meals B+D
