Having been delighted on an A+R adventure into Kenya and Tanzania, we booked our Alaska trip two years ahead... coordinating schedules and commitments for a family of 12 is not easy! With high expectations, we were not disappointed in any area, from lodging to logistics, activities and excursions, and most of all our very capable and extraordinary guide and friend, Kathy Reager, who beautifully blended knowledge with insight and intuition -- "fluent" in 3 generations! One of the founders of A+R commented on 'building bridges of cross-cultural understanding" -- more profoundly, at least for us, is "building bridges of cross-generational understanding" among boomers, adult children and grandchildren.
