Our group consisted of 8 family members ages 2 years to 70 years on a custom trip to Costa Rica. We engaged the services of a driver/guide through A&R who made the experience more informative, seamless, and fun. We were able to see a wide variety of the country and wildlife, participated in several private tours, and did not have to worry about travel or accommodations. Activities were planned to interest all age groups. Did I mention our terrific driver/guide?

Our driver and tour guide Luis Gonzalez was the best part of our trip. Without him we would have been lost on the roads we traveled. His knowledge of the land, sea, animals, food (restaurants), and so much more was of upmost superior service. The white water rafting was exhilarating. So glad we did it. Manuel Antonio National Park was a highlight and having Luis with us made it come alive.

We enjoyed traveling to several different locations in Costa Rica. It is a beautiful country with so much to see and do. The tour was a perfect way to experience the varied ecosystems and landscapes from the canals of Tortuguero, to the rainforests and Arenal Volcano, the Cloud Forests of Monteverde and the white sand beaches of Manuel Antonio. We also enjoyed the private tour and that the itinerary was tailored around us. The guides were amazing and very knowledgeable. The wait staff, Jason and John, at Manatus were the best!

Our guide Luis Gonzalez was excellent, helped with all aspects of the trip including some unscheduled stops & activities. The wildlife and destinations were awesome.
