We had a wonderful time visiting Rome, Florence, Tuscany and Venice. We were picked up and transported on time, our guides were excellent, not one issue. I highly recommend Alexander + Roberts.

We really appreciated the flexibility to add additional nights in each of the cities on our tour. The tour guides were, for the most part, very good and of a higher caliber than those we were able to book ourselves through Viator. We were very glad we splurged on a private driver from the Rome airport to Sorrento as our flight arrived at a different terminal than expected and the A&R phone local support line was very helpful in connecting us to our driver who came to us. I was glad we did not have to figure out the trains for the first time at the airport. We chose mid-range hotels and were very happy with both the hotels and the locations. The hotels were well situated for walking everywhere.

Privately guided tours were excellent, high speed rail travel was efficient, transport to and from hotels were always on time. Very high quality tour guides for the most part. Drivers were excellent. Tour guides and drivers were always on time.

Our 15 day custom tour in Italy was a “dream come true”. Our intention was to sample some of the highlights of Italy on this trip with hopes of doing deeper more focused explorations in the future. All of the planning and travel logistics were flawless. The accommodations were excellent. The guides A&R provided were exceptional in all cases.
