This morning, our private car and driver will escort you from your hotel in Cuzco or the Sacred Valley to the rail station. Board the famous Vistadome Train for a scenic journey through the fabled Sacred Valley. As you travel along the Urubamba River, the scenery is spectacular… snow-capped Andean peaks, timeless villages and terraced fields that have been cultivated for generations. Arrive in Aguas Calientes and ascend by bus along the winding mountain road to the legendary Lost City of the Inca. Enjoy unhurried exploration through the ruins of Machu Picchu as your personal guide sheds light upon this amazing mountain-top citadel and the ancient civilization that built it. We’ve included the bus ticket and entry fee if you would like to make a return morning visit to Machu Picchu to explore at your own pace before the day visitors arrive later by train. This is also a great opportunity to witness the soft early light as it breaks across the mountain peaks to fall upon these ancient stones. But please exercise caution as morning dew can make the paths and stones quite slippery. Later this afternoon, your Machu Picchu trip ends with a return to Cuzco aboard the Vistadome Train. Meals B
